Don’t Drink … Play!
If you like to have a beer ever so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your wallet, and keep all cash, charge cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Only take only the money you expect to use on refreshments, tips and only the pocket change you anticipate to burn and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Realistic more like. You can experience a success after a boozy night out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hit a marathon roll at a hot craps game. Don’t forget that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink and wager. The two simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your moolah at home might be a little bit excessive, but defensive actions for excessive behavior is essential. If you gamble to profit, then don’t drink and bet. If you can afford to be wasteful with your money nary a concern, then drink all the gratuitous beer your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled brain loses everything!
Let me to carry this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then go online to gamble in your best-liked internet casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the coziness of my abode, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can’t drink and gamble.
Why? Despite the fact that I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s clearly enough to blur my common sense. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and costly, drink.
