Learning From My Gaming Mistakes
I have been gambling on the internet or at brick and mortar casinos for a good many years. I have determined, the habit usually will acquire a hold of you and you won’t even see it until you are broke. Especially if you are on a run. I have been through countless thousands of clams in a very short period of time and even still on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you are only enjoying yourself up till you make a choice to contemplate your losses and the guilt sets in, and then you continue telling yourself "I could earn the mulla back" ad nauseam. It never works. Then you feel sick to your stomach and the more you try the quicker you spend.
When you observe that you are in the black, Remain Ahead! When you start to relinquish, do not tell yourself, "well only one more" a number of times, trust me, this technique RARELY ever works. Say you are gambling on one armed bandits, keep a figure set aside prior to starting your betting. DO NOT go over this limit, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to earn, put the winnings in a different pot. Do not bet your payouts regardless of what happens. After you have wagered through your initial predetermined limit, stop. Call it quits, whether it’s on the internet or in a land based gambling hall, don’t stick at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there certainly is another day, another time. Obviously, this method usually will function for any game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other game.
Remember, wagering should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the losses, don’t even begin.
