Being Taught From My Gambling Blunders
First to clarify the reason I wrote this article. I have been gambling on the internet or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have learned, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It seems you are just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your losses and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" constantly. It never works. Then you become queasy in your stomach and the harder you try the quicker you are deprived.
When you see that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and again and again, trust me, this logic RARELY ever functions. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll set aside before beginning your play. Don’t go over that limit, no matter how alluring. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different pot. Do not spend your profits no matter what. Once you have played through your original set limit, stop. Head out, regardless if it is on the net or at a land based betting house, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.
Keep in mind, gambling should be exciting not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not manage the cost, don’t even begin.
